Our faithful correspondent in Hanover, Chinee Allen, has provided several items worthy of note, which we herewith pass along. We always appreciate such newsworthy items. Would that other classmates might follow his good example.

Robin Robinson, after 50 years of service to the College, retired on January 30 as consultant on enrollment patterns. His duties are being split between the associate registrar and a parttime consultant. Robin was a professor of mathematics from 1928 through 1968. He became a consultant on enrollment patterns in 1970. Among his other accomplishments was the development of the reunion pattern which is now in effect. He will continue to host two classical music programs on WFRD-FM, that he has run since 1955 ― "A Little Night Music" and "Opera Showcase."

We note two 50th wedding anniversaries: Edith and Henry Stevenson, who were given a surprise party on February 12 by a group of 30 friends, including their son, David, who made a surprise visit from Texas. And, belatedly, congratulations to the Shanamans, who celebrated their 50th last August.

We are in receipt of a program of a Glee Club concert presented in February. We note that in spite of the absence of some of our old-time favorites, "Pea Green Freshmen" and "Men of Dartmouth" still survive. May these always continue in such programs.

Don Bartlett, now professor emeritus, was one of a five-person panel of judges of carnival snow sculpture. The sculpture this year was in tribute to Dr. Seuss but was created with difficulty because of the lack of snow in Hanover. Don was the roommate of Theodore Seuss Geisel '25 at Oxford 55 years ago.

A current exhibit of silver and antiques in Hopkins Center has included antique furniture and silver from the collections of Frank andLouise Harrington. They have given many pieces of antique silver to the College over a period of many years.
