Walter J. Aschenbach recently received appointment to the rules committee o£ the American Football Coaches Association. Wally, who has been coach at New Trier High School since 1925, will represent the middle west on the group which recommends college football rule changes.
The sympathy of the class goes to JackStrauss upon the loss of his wife who passed away on April 15.

Under the able promotion of Bob Dewey, a 1922 dinner was held at the Dartmouth Club in New York on the evening of April 19. Those assembled viewed movies of our Fifteenth supplied by Johnny Shea, movies of our Twentieth and Twenty-fifth supplied by Andy Marshall and still scenes of and about Hanover supplied by Stan Miner. Andy Marshall, acting as M C, called upon Stan Miner,Cec Goldbeck and Frank Horan for remarks and reports upon the Alumni Fund, our Class Book and the Twoter, respectively. April saw two 1922 luncheons in Boston, both of which were impromptu affairs organized hurriedly without much advance notice. Upon the short notice in both instances it was impossible, of course, to do a real job of rounding up. On April 12 Elmer Ardif,Nick Carter, Haskell Cohn, Carroll Dwight,Len Morrissey, Ced Porter, Walt Sands and George Stanley gathered for lunch with FrankHoran. On April 27 Elmer Ardif, Ray Atwood, Carl Davis, Carroll Dwight, CarterHoyt, Dick Litchfield, Len Morrissey and CedPorter gathered to break bread with StanMiner. Brief visits to Boston by Frank and Stan were the occasions for the luncheons, as you may have surmised.
Harry Bruckner, Norm Crane, Bill Morrell and Ted Robie represented the class at the dinner in March of the Northern New Jersey Alumni Association.
Lester E. Richwagon was installed as president of the New England Hospital Assembly at the 26th Annual meeting of that body in March. Les is director of the Mary Fletcher Hospital at Burlington, Vt.
A picture of Susan, attractive daughter of the Bob Hights, appeared in a recent issue of The Boston Herald. She had a leading part in the operetta "The Gondoliers" which was presented by the Parish Players of Winchester.
The Tony Hanlons were blessed with the birth of a son on April 2. Unless my records are incomplete in that respect, Judge Hanlon currently holds the position in our class of father of the youngest child.
The Detroit Sunday Times of March 27 carried an illustrated article about the interesting and unusual home of the Wally Shiptons in Grosse Pointe Park. Among other things, mention was made of the nursery for the eleven-month-old daughter Sally. Wally must be the one whom Tony Hanlon displaced.
Oz Holland, is director of sales for Automatic Steel Products, Inc. He and Mary, with daughters Mary Pierce, fifteen, and Marcia Elizabeth, twelve, reside in Canton, Ohio.
Last fall Rosemary, daughter of Clark andRuth Bristol, married Stanton H. Bryden Jr. The bride and groom are graduates of the University of Vermont. Clark and Ruth, with their other daughter Ruth Bill, live in Montpelier where Clark is managing vice president of American Fidelity Company.
