Another football season is again underway and I hope that all of you have had an opportunity to see Dartmouth play at least once this year. Since fall is once again upon us and we are inclined to think again of our happy college days, I want to remind all of you to send me any news you might have about new jobs, promotions, babies, or new addresses for both the college and your classmates are interested.
Though the month has flown by, I have managed to collect a little news about the '48's. On August 24 the press reported that Mel Neisloss married Helen Klein of Jamaica, N. Y. Since Mel is from Forest Hills this was really a home-town wedding. Helen graduated from Vassar in 1955 and has been teaching ever since. It seems as though quite a large proportion of '4B brides are schoolteachers so I am sure we will have some very bright progeny in future years. Mel is a graduate of Yale Law School and is now associated with one of the more prominent New York law firms, Mudge, Stern, Baldwin, and Todd.
