For those of you who are sitting on the edge of your seats awaiting the outcome, light up a cigar on me and welcome young Matthew William to the world. Thanks to Emmy, Dave Walsh gets his name in print again. Emmy says Dave just celebrated a birthday with a party attended by Bob Shirley '63, Carl Funke, Al Huck,Jim Murar (mentioned elsewhere in this column), and Bill Wellstead '63. Joe Sackett could not make it, but he is a bit closer having landed in Georgia following his tour in Viet Nam. Dave and Emmy considered driving back east this summer with young Dave and Alex,, but the boys made the trip seem a bit long. Thanks for the note Emmy, but where were the cookies?

Bob Van Dam has asked that we get ready for the Alumni Fund Drive early this year. So let's all help Bob out and pitch in to guarantee a fine showing.

Time to warm up the bottle, and catch the late late show with Matthew.
