It must be Alumni Fund time as the College has once again discovered me. Seriously let's all get behind the drive this year and make Bob Van Dam's task just a bit easier.
Campaign time has come and gone here in the Granite State and reality has once more set in. Sure was fun while it lasted. Of those who passed our way, Susan and I found Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward the most attractive.
An off-year reunion was held in the new Hanover Inn recently. Mike Slive and friend were with John and Jill Schiffiman, while Bob Van Dam and Paul Weinberg were wandering around. All wound up at the Byble and Drum Tavern and spent a few pleasant hours testing the Inn's new facilities. Mike and John are working in Hanover while Bob was on business and Paul was taking a long look before boarding the plane to Saigon where he is to land, providing there's an available airport.

Bob Chrisgau is on his way up. Bob's literary ability is apparent in the monthly issues of "Esquire Magazine," where he heads up the music column. Bob came to "Esquire" after serving with the "Newark Star Ledger" as a police reporter. While in Newark, Bob did a detailed study and report on a starvation death caused by a special diet. This story received national recognition in January of 1966, and was awarded honorable mention as the best story of the year.
