Herb McCord and winsome bride Judy made the Miami scene last week and recharged their solar batteries. Herb is happy with his job as V. P. and general manager of CKLW radio in Windsor, Ontario, and Judy is soon to bless him with his very own "Crashlet." The McCords live in splendor on a beautiful lake in Windsor, and invite any Old Greens who happen through the Detroit area to drop in.
Phil McFerrin writes that he is moving to Memphis, Tenn, and will practice law there. He is finishing a two-year clerkship with Judge Irene Scott of the U.S. Tax Court in Washington, and has managed to remain a bachelor until now. Memphis belles are on red alert.
Werner Kuhn is serving as Assistant Counsel to the New York State Charter Revision Commission for New York City, and is developing proposals for the decentralization and improvement of government in the Big Apple.
Brian Hewins is in his third year of residency in radiology at Los Angeles County Hospital. He and his wife Bobbie have two daughters (Becky, age 6, and Julie, age 3). George Lewin is a second-year resident in pediatrics at L. A. County, after having served as a pediatrician for 33 months with the Air Force. And Mike Krieger, having completed a neurology residency at Walter Reed, is now an army major, and is stationed at Fort Dix where he serves as chief of the neurology service.
This month's '64 Career Spotlight shines admiringly upon the entire bod of "Lucky” Cal Christmas, who masquerades by day as a mild-mannered history prof at William Penn College in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Cal writes that he serves as the faculty advisor to a sorority on Penn's campus, and notes that this assignment is the fulfillment of a Dartmouth man's dream.
Bob Goodman writes that he and lovely wife Martha are the proud parents of a son, Robert III, born August 31. Bob practices law in Norfolk with the firm of Kaufman, Oberndorfer & Spainlour.
Jerry Reichwald remarried in November, and he and his new wife Jaclynn Dee are proud (and busy) parents of a combined total of three boys, all under the age of 3. Jerry is an assistant vice president of the First National Bank of Minneapolis, and is in charge of personal financial planning and tax shelter counseling.
Steve Bachman, terror on the ice. writes that his family is now complete with the addition of Stephen III born in October. Little Steve joins Linda, 4, and Sally, 2, in the Bachman playroom. Steve writes that he raced a Laser sailboat off and on last summer, and bumped into Parker Smith doing the same. And yes, Bachman fans, Steve is playing hockey again this year for the National Brewery team in Baltimore, and he notes that the quality of National's product is improving.
