Walter Furman is getting along well. When his Chinese cook left him and went to Singapore, which she admits is not as nice as Princeton, Walter easily engaged another Chinese lady cook. So all is well with Walter.

John Hinman has been on a visit with his son in Oregon, but spent most of his summer at his favorite resort at Prouts Neck in Maine.
