My good friend and neighbor, Don Hummel, who returned from the December meeting of the Alumni Council said that action was taken to support the Committee which is studying ROTC. This was in the form of a resolution calling for a meeting between college officials and Department of Defense officials. If the ROTC units are willing to submit course content and faculty appointments to the college administration for approval it may be possible to reinstate ROTC as an elective. I hope you will all be as pleased about this news as I was.
