These notes are published some time after they are written, and for that reason I neglected to wish every one a Merry Christmas, which I realize as I write this Christmas night. However, I will not miss out on Easter. Happy Easter to all!

A letter from Elmer Pillsbury tells of his birthday party, attended by his son and daughter and four grandchildren and his 88- year-old sister. Chet DeMond will spend the winter in New York except for a short visit to Florida the latter part of February. Nick Sandoe says they have been having plenty of winter in New Hampshire. Guess he cannot sell his house there and move to Florida too soon.

Muriel Cogswell has sold her house and moved to an apartment in Hopkinton. Her new address is Hopkinton Village, RDI, Concord, N.H. She joins the steady parade to apartments. Emily Gale spent the Christmas holidays in Atlanta with her son. Florence Stecher went to California for the same purpose. Harriet writes how much Batch appreciates the notes he gets from classmates. Keep it up, because he certainly has done plenty for the rest of us.

Davis writes (in November in case the Chamber of Commerce protests) that the wind is so strong that when he hits the golf ball it often winds up at his feet. It reminds me of the fellow who said that as he got older he "hit the ball just as hard but it did not go as far."

Pretty soon Nock Wallis will be writing about the Alumni Fund. Give him a hand with this arduous task.

Red Murphy had a heart upset early in the fall but still is taking it easy. Aren't we all? RuthMcCarter writes from Quincy that she has a third grandchild. Bill Jr. is a distinguished lawyer in Boston. The Max Nortons say they are fine, but their "get up and go" is restricted. What's new?

Fat Jackson is better and will be out on the golf course soon. Suppose he is getting ready to take money from the winter visitors.

Doris Ross is living at The Heart of the Valley Care Center, 2750 N.W. Harrison Blvd., Corvallis, Ore. 97330. It would be nice to write her.

Well this is all for now. Keep me supplied with news or I shall have to resort to fiction and my fiction might not be so good.
