She and I plan duty together in England where much ado is fully anticipated. The embargo in Turkey is lifted - it's still hard to get lightbulbs so that we can see what we're doing, however. I've been to such exciting places as Bangkok, Thailand; Minot, N.D.; and Malatya, Turkey. Travel is great!"

Last but not least is word that Bill Taylor is behind a fascinating project entitled "Metamorphosis." Celebrating its first anniversary, its object is the formation of a human chain around the world. According to their calculations, it would require less than 40 million people - approximately one per cent of the world population - to form a line 40,000 miles long passing through the major popula- tion centers of the world (the circumference of the earth is 25,000 miles). Thus far, between 50 and 100 people have joined the observation. At last writing, a festival conference was planned for Frakes (yes, Frakes), Ky.
Wishing everyone the happiest of holidays and a happy new year. See you next month.
