This has been a delightfully cold and snowy winter for Hanover. The first flakes fell in early December and we've had a ground cover ever since. The Dartmouth Skiway up at Holt's Ledge in Lyme opened in mid-December and has been drawing bigger and bigger crowds. Hope you get a chance to see the new color film on the Skiway.
The Bucks have enjoyed the snow and even the so degree below zero temperatures recorded in December despite the fact that it played havoc with the construction schedule of our new Hanover home.
December has also been a big month for births. Dek Davidson's handsome, unique Christmas card gave the stork equal billing with St. Nick in announcing the birth of Russell Armstrong Davidson on December 10. This is the second son for Dek and Louise. Dek handles New York sales for Timber Structures, Inc. during business hours and is on the Board of Governors of the Dartmouth Club of New York in "off" hours. The combination often means a late train out to Thornwood, N. Y.
Over in the marble capital of the nation, Proctor, Vt., the Santa stork brought Walt and Betsy Lashar a young lady, Susan Elizabeth, born December 12. The two previous Price children were girls, Patty and Cynthia. Bill's with Price-Waterhouse in the Boston area.
The big news in Worcester, Mass., banking circles is the promotion of one Robert Brace to assistant treasurer of the Worcester County Trust Company. Bob was a credit analyst. Bob's a member of the Worcester Young Businessmen's Association and the University Club of Worcester.

Another long distance mover is Dave Springer who reversed the national population trend to the west by moving from Mason City, lowa, to Westchester County in New York. His new address is 31 Munson Place, Yorktown Heights.
Bill Stewart, however, offset the east's gain in Springer by shifting from South Bend, Ind., to West Covina, Calif. His new home is on 814 Susanna Avenue.
Another '52 giving up Navy blue for civilian days is Dr. Sum Moulton who has left Uncle Sam's service in Florida in time to enjoy winter in Portland, Maine.
