DEAR GANG — Time flies and as you read this we'll be in the middle of football season, the workaday world will be busy, leaves will be turning, and on the weekend of October 22 I hope to be at Harvard Stadium watching the Big Green murder "The Crimson." We are planning a Class Executive Committee meeting in Boston that weekend and we'll give you a complete report on it in the next issue or two. Jack Whitman, our erstwhile Newsletter Editor, will serve as host and we hope to see many of the Greater Boston '46s.
Incidentally, hasn't Jack been doing a splendid job writing the Newsletter? We feel his listing of '46s by area will be of interest to all and might bring some of you closer together in your particular geographical areas; Jack hopes to continue giving us this listing in as many areas as is reasonable around the country. Last May, Jack and wife, "wee Jeanie," and I attended Class Officers Meetings in Hanover and got a lot of stimulating ideas from the sessions and associations with other class-officers. On that particular trip East, I spent a short time in the Big City and ran into old jazzman Ben Moats at where else? - naturally, a jazz joint! Ben is Vice President in charge of sales and marketing for the Fitchburg Paper Company in Fitchburg, Mass., and does a lot of traveling. He and wife Jerry are getting in more than a fair amount of skiing.
