"10th Reunion in 80 Days." Doesn't seem possible, but it's true! And. what a wonderful, happy occasion it should be — A record number (would '53 do anything else) of the '53 gang are looking forward to returning to Hanover - June 21-23. I need not tell you all that your Executive Committee and Dick Blum and his Reunion Committee have left no stone unturned in properly planning this great event. Sign up now, if you have not done so.

Bachelor Ranks Diminish: Once upon a time on Hanover Hill a 210-pound guard used to open a wide hole for a fleet 185-pound halfback. The crowd would cheer even if the players said nothing. Now it has - come time for these guys to say something: - Yes Sir, Pete Reich has announced his engagement to Louise Trotti of Los Angeles. Wedding bells are scheduled for the spring - Louise attended the University of California and the Katharine Gibbs School. Pete is now District Sales Manager for Simpson Lee Paper Co. From Chicago, great news comes of Dick Calkins' engagement to attractive Anita Adcock. Anita's home originally was Shreveport, La. Recently she has been teaching school in Wilmette, Ill. By the time you receive this, Dick and Anita will be Mr. and Mrs. Our combined best wishes go to these two popular guys and their brides.

Business Kudos: Honeywell Electronic Data Processing has just recently made BobHenderson Regional Sales Director for the Central Region of the United States. Bob will be responsible for coordinating commercial sales activities and formulating marketing strategy. A big jump for Bob who started as sales representative with Honeywell in 1960, later promoted to Assistant Branch Manager and later Branch Sales Manager of the New York City office. Congrats, Bob! (Henderson's new address: 404 Elder Land, Winnetka, Ill.) Tom Bagg has joined the Staff of the General Counsel for Socony Mobil Oil in New York. Tom is a Harvard LL.B. and was previously associated with the law firm of Dewey, Ballantine,. Bushby, Palmer & Wood. Joyce and Tom and their three children can well be proud of this new move.

A thoughtful note comes from Norm Carpenter in Minneapolis who passed on to me a short piece written by Burt Bernstein in a recent New Yorker issue. I agreed with Norm that Burt had written a most interesting piece on the theme "What's In a Name." Keep an eye peeled for Burt's work. I know you'd enjoy reading his distinctive work.

Howard Clery and Ted Spiegel and the Executive Committee are very proud to announce that Ed Condit has accepted an appointment as 1953's Head Class Agent. Ed has done an outstanding job as an agent and now we salute him as he assumes his new and most important class position. I know you'll join me in wishing Ed well and assuring him of our full assistance in the years ahead. A passing "Big Thanks" again, to Ted Spiegel in all he has done for the class and the college these past 6 years.

News at the Hitching Post! Dick Fleming of Boston has recently been appointed executive secretary of the Executive Committee of the Republican State Committee.
